77th IATA AGM And World Air Transport Summit To Hold In-Person In Boston, 3-5 October

The International Air atransport Association (IATA) has confirmed that the much-awaited 77th IATA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and World Air Transport Summit (WATS) will be held, in-person, at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, in Boston, USA, from 3 to 5 October 2021.

The IATA AGM is the most senior gathering of aviation leaders. It is also a unique opportunity to hear and interact directly with those guiding the industry through the COVID-19 pandemic. “As we slowly emerge from 18 months of pandemic-related lockdowns, restrictions, and border closures, this year’s meeting will take on added significance,” IATA added.

“A special program of media briefings with our top subject matter experts will supplement the main program,” IATA equally added.

Regarding COVID-19, IATA emphasises that “all travelers to the US currently are required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken not more than 3 days prior to departure from their original point of embarkation or proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days. Other restrictions may apply,” with a link,  IATA Travel Centre, in this regard.
