ExecuJet MRO Services South Africa has won a contract to provide airframe heavy maintenance and component support for the South African Air Force’s three Beechcraft King Airs. The MRO company says it “has already completed airframe heavy maintenance checks on two of these aircraft which will be delivered to the air force in time to be on static display at the show (Africa Aerospace & Defence). Besides completing airframe heavy checks, ExecuJet also touched up the aircraft paintwork, and refurbished the interior.”
ExecuJet Secures SACAA Approval for Embraer Legacy Aircraft Maintenance
The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) has officially approved ExecuJet MRO Services Middle East’s Dubai facility to conduct heavy maintenance checks on the Embraer EMB-135/145 series (Legacy 600/650 series), including checks up to 192-month checks. The company operates a 15,344 square meter (165,160 square feet) state-of-the-art MRO facility at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, according to Execujet. With this approval, “ExecuJet MRO Services Middle East has commenced performing heavy maintenance checks on South African-registered Embraer Legacy aircraft following the receipt of regulatory approval.”
