Air Senegal Commences Flight Operations To Milan

Air Senegal said it has commenced flight operations from Dakar to Milan three times a week-Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday- on direct flights.

The maiden flight was operated with an Airbus A319 aircraft capable of seating 12 passengers in Business Class and 108 in Economy on Wednesday, February 17.

Ernest Dikoum, Air Senegal Director of Marketing and Product Development who travelled on this first flight, spoke of a satisfactory filling rate in these times of pandemic with 80% on arrival and 100% departing from Dakar.

The pandemic situation did not allow for a party for these first passengers, but the Authorities of Air Senegal and the Director General Ibrahima Kane, were there to thank them.

A press visit was made on two Air Senegal aircraft, including the A321, which has just joined the airline’s fleet and provides flight services to the Dakar-Casablanca-Barcelona route.
